Online Reservation System
The rod fee is $100 per person and all visitors to Rose River Farm will be required to sign a waiver release agreement. We limit the farm to just 5 rods a day. However if you book 4 rods on the same day we will reserve the stream for your party only. Our policy is to take payment in full with all bookings do to the limited number of rods we allow on the stream each day. We do not allow cancellations but we will allow a one time rebooking with 14 days notice.We offer full day and half day guide services as well as group and private fly fishing schools. All programs are under the direction of renowned fly fisherman, guide and fly tyer Head Guide Alan Edmunds. Alan picked up fly-fishing and tying flies when he was 15, and spent much of his youth exploring the Virginia mountain streams for brook trout and the Shenandoah River for smallmouth bass.
Before returning to Virginia, Alan and his wife Judy ran the Battenkill Inn in the Manchester Vermont area. Alan provided its many guests with guided fishing trips on the world famous Battenkill River chasing brown and brook trout.
Known for his passion and ability to translate complicated fly fishing concepts into simple, easy-to-understand terms for his clients - Alan and our team of guides (including Head Guide Emeritus Gary Burwell, Jen Goodale, Bryant Robinson and John Shipstedt) will make your day of guided fly fishing or private instruction a day to remember.

Once your reservation has been processed you will receive a payment confirmation from Paypal and a booking confirmation from Rose River Farm with a parking pass and the code of conduct. If you do not receive these confirmations (they are automated and usually arrive in 15 minutes or less) please email us to make sure you have a reservation.
